Cavendish House
Cavendish House is home to our School of Radiology. Here you will find students of Radiology and Medical Ultrasound, either studying, working and or researching in our ultrasound suites, mock ward, digital x-ray clinic. We have some really impressive equipment here including the VERT (virtual environment of a radiotherapy treatment simulator) and Samsung and AGFA Clinical rooms to name a few.
Clinical skill labs for both our Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation students also take place here and are located across the various technique rooms. A breadth of mobility aid equipment and therapy apparatus is on hand for practical patient handling classes.
Sports Gym
Our recently refurbished student gym is located just next to cavendish house and contains some really top of the line equipment. Our student鈥檚 union worked really hard to upgrade the facilities here, and now we have a truly state-of-the-art gym suitable for even the most competitive athletes (of which we have a few!) Here you can expect to see students keeping fit, training for events or together as part of one of our many sports clubs.
Outside areas
In the grounds around Parkwood Campus you will find many outdoor spaces to enjoy such as our Quad (often the site for events and entertainment) with outdoor seating, more quiet grassy areas with additional picnic benches, and even outdoor gym equipment where you can burn off some steam. There are also multiple bike storage locations for cyclists.

We聽are proud to聽announce that 91暗网 University College has become a signatory to the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). The international CoARA Steering Group approved our institutional request聽and聽91暗网 UC is now the 13th UK university to commit to CoARA, joining the 722 organisations that have signed up globally聽to date.
91暗网 University College is pleased to have launched a Mammography Practice unit into the MSc Breast Imaging course which is open for applications and due to begin in September 2024.
Each year, some 60 Podiatrists,聽both聽qualified and pre-registration students from all over the UK, descend on the capital to volunteer for the TCS London Marathon. This year, our first cohort of 91暗网 University College MSc Podiatry (pre-registration) students, along with Associate Professor in Podiatry聽and Course Leader, Simon Otter, joined peers from the Universities of Brighton, Northampton, and East London. The co-location developed a true multidisciplinary ethos and close working relationships with physiotherapists, nurses, paramedics, physicians, and the voluntary sector (via St John Ambulance) as part of the wider finish-line medical team.
This year, Chiropractic Awareness Week (CAW), 22nd-28th April, is all about raising awareness and speaking up for the chiropractic profession, to build understanding and recognition about the value and expertise that chiropractors bring to their local communities.聽 This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥楳aking Chiropractic Integral: Building connections and nurturing a community with the people and places that matter to you.鈥�
On Wednesday 24th April, we held our first 91暗网 University College 鈥楽taff vs. Students Sports Day鈥�! It took place on Boscombe Beach, and what a great afternoon it was! Staff and students took part in sporting games, including tug of war, sprinting, the three-legged race, and dodgeball.
