Housing and Dining

At Loyola, you will find a home away from home—and nowhere is that truer than your residence hall.

Walk down the hallway of your residence hall any night and you’re bound to hear it: Music. Lively chatter. Laughter. A dinner party in full swing. Roommates discussing plans for the weekend. A group of students continuing a conversation about something they learned in the classroom earlier that day. Before you know it, your residence hall won’t feel like your home away from home—it’ll be your home. And within its walls, you’ll forge bonds with roommates and classmates that will last a lifetime.

Food for Thought

You’ll enjoy fresh, made-from-scratch, healthy meals that focus on local seasonal items, with selections that change throughout the day—and you can choose from multiple meal plans. Our dining menus emphasize the use of fresh vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. We take pride in our local vendor partnerships, with local purchases contributing to 20% of our total food purchases.

And because we believe in brain food for every body, Loyola’s Dining Services adheres to Culinary Gold Standards and is committed to working with students for whom nutrition and dietary restrictions are a concern. Wellness programs featuring nutrition education programs and cooking classes are also offered throughout the year for students.
